GPAW 3:Research Paper Checklist

I didn't choose to do all of this GPAW because, like the others, most of the information is very repetitive and has been covered already in the class. I also haven't had any problems accomplishing these aspects of the research paper in the past.

Activity #1
Thesis: Is McDonald’s to blame for the ever increasing obesity rate and unhealthy lifestyles that Americans are choosing these days?

I do feel that my thesis is clear and arguable.

Activity #2
I have reliable sources that will support my thesis with statistics and factual information. I also am steering my observations and interviews to support the information I am trying to research.

Citing Sources/Works Cited Page
I don’t think that it is necessary to do this particular part of the GPAW. It is similar to the previous GPAW’s that we have already done. Also, I have already demonstrated in the first paper and other GPAW’s that I know the importance of citing factual and reliable sources. The works cited page is the part of the paper that I never have a problem with. I can successfully cite various types of sources: books, internet, journals and interviews. We have done it for our first paper and it has been a requirement in my other college courses that I have had to use other people’s work and ideas.

Okay! I agree you've demonstrated understanding of using sources both in text and within a works cited page. Your thesis is focused, specific, and interesting!
