I wanted to incorporate some valid statistics relating to obesity in the United States. I felt that the Center for Disease Control was a reputable website that would have vaild up to date information regarding health statistics. It is a goverment regulated website so I know that any information that I take from there would be accurate and thoroughly tested.

Good points about why this site would be valid for providing the statistics you are looking for. (Be sure to cite the website correctly in your works cited page, though...I think you are missing something from this web address you have in this source report).
